Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is a modern, eco-friendly method of removing minor dents, dings, and hail damage without affecting your vehicle’s original paint. Unlike traditional bodywork, PDR restores your car to its pre-damaged condition quickly, cleanly, and affordably.

Our trained technicians use specialized tools and techniques to carefully massage the metal back into place. Every dent is unique, and our experts ensure that each repair is precise, maintaining the integrity of your vehicle’s surface.

The Paintless Dent Repair Process

There is no exact step-by-step dent removal method, and it is not as simple as just "popping out" the dent. Every dent, hail storm and vehicle is unique and must be approached as so. In fact, our trained technicians at R&D'z Auto Alley - PDR have spent years on their craft and skills in order to deliver the best results possible.

We start by inspecting the vehicle with special lights to assess the damage. We then write an estimate using a matrix to measure the size and quantity of dents on each panel of the vehicle. Once the estimate has been completed and agreed to by the necessary parties, we obtain access to the dent. (without drilling) PDR is performed on the reverse side of the damaged area; so we will need to remove any necessary panels and trim to gain access to the dent. Once access is obtained, the technician will utilize a wide variety of special tools designed specifically for paintless dent repair. After the proper tools have been selected and the special lights have been adjusted to position; the technician will use their hand-eye techniques and tools to apply pressure to the underside of the dent. The technician will watch the dent while using a "massaging" technique to remove the dent and push the metal back to its proper form. This alone will work to repair most hail damage  and minor dents and dings.
